Amusing analogies geared at making connections between musical and non-musical things frequent the presentation. A mix of carefully selected musical recordings (from both past and present, classical and popular) offer a wide assortment of performances of both piano and orchestral music. Special emphasis is placed on uncovering the individuality of a performance as well as developing an appreciation for the social importance of the piano and its evolution throughout the centuries.
